| 1. Written by W.F. on February 18, 2012 from farmington, michigan, US I haven't tried this shampoo; so I can't say anything goo or bad about it (other than by what you said, $300 and so dollars is way too much money for freaking shampoo!!). But let's get to the point: I'm writing to you cos I believe I know where you got confused. I've noticed what some companies do to push their products: When you watch their infomercials it never says that there is a free trial; what they say is that they offer a "risk free trial" which is a tricky way of saying, you won't take any risks by trying our product (like your hair won't turn green) or any silly thing like that. But it doesn't mean that the product is free for you to try... (sometimes they may charge you a bit less, or they may charge you just the same as the regular product; but what they do is delay the billing date...)Those people hope the viewers won't pay enough attention to the wording and actually order the product believing that it is indeed free (and if you have the terrible problem of thinning hair, you will by all means try anything you think is free!)... So, I'm sure that is what this Company that makes Keranique is doing...And, I'm guessing that is where they got you!It is probably not illegal; but it sure is tricky and deceiving in their part! So, in the beginning they charge you just shipping and handling. And when they send you the second shipping automatically (that is whether you wanted more or not) they then charge you for both... I'm sure you paid with a credit card. They should be able to handle your claim... |
