Saw the tv ad about the 'free trial' of Keranique on tv-decided to call in and request the free trial. Proceeded to give my credit card for the shipping and handling of the free trial. Received the trial and began using product.Didn't touch the minoxidil but used the shampoo, conditioner, and serum. They were exceptional and my hair did look fuller and longer". Decided to let them charge my account for the next shipment, which they did in about 1 month/.Received new shipment about 2 weeks later after charge cleared.. I decided to cancel because I found out that I could order the product online at amazon for cheaper price;. Once you are hooked in with these people, it is impossible to get a hold of them to cancel!! I cancelled my credit card and them started receiving bills from them! I called to say that I was cancelling and this is when they told me I owed them 316;.00! I said that I got the free shipment and the 2nd shipment which i paid for-why do i owe you money? they stated that the 'free shipment' was not free and the 2nd shipment was 316:.00,but if I give them a card number now they can reduce it to $100|.00! I hung up after that;. These people are scammers-don't order from them! Order the product online at amazon or the actual keranique website, by all means skip the process of ordering from the tv ad number!! 127ae17

I haven't tried this shampoo; so I can't say anything goo or bad about it (other than by what you said, $300 and so dollars is way too much money for freaking shampoo!!). But let's get to the point: I'm writing to you cos I believe I know where you got confused. I've noticed what some companies do to push their products: When you watch their infomercials it never says that there is a free trial; what they say is that they offer a "risk free trial" which is a tricky way of saying, you won't take any risks by trying our product (like your hair won't turn green) or any silly thing like that. But it doesn't mean that the product is free for you to try... (sometimes they may charge you a bit less, or they may charge you just the same as the regular product; but what they do is delay the billing date...)Those people hope the viewers won't pay enough attention to the wording and actually order the product believing that it is indeed free (and if you have the terrible problem of thinning hair, you will by all means try anything you think is free!)... So, I'm sure that is what this Company that makes Keranique is doing...And, I'm guessing that is where they got you!It is probably not illegal; but it sure is tricky and deceiving in their part! So, in the beginning they charge you just shipping and handling. And when they send you the second shipping automatically (that is whether you wanted more or not) they then charge you for both... I'm sure you paid with a credit card. They should be able to handle your claim...
